My passion for movement and understanding the body has propelled me to a continual search and in depth learning of ways to achieve flexibility, strength, and easy and efficient body function.
I am committed to exploring our physical capabilities through different forms of movement, combined with achieving great concentration and mind body connection, to evolve our mental strength in recognising movement patterns that sometimes work in favour of our physical benefit and other times hinder what our body is capable of. Changing and improving these patterns is what I try to do. When working with a body with scoliosis in particular, I seek to assist the body to find structural alignment, creating more symmetrical dynamics. Each individual has their own shape and capability no matter whether scoliosis is an issue or not. I hope to offer space to each client to allow for both healing and change. Reaching for the ideal, is often not only about changing the physic (muscle imbalances, posture, movement habits), but also about changing the attitude, one’s habitual beliefs and thoughts. I offer a fusion of pilates, bodywork (massage, postural analysis, gait analysis), and Qigong. I assesses the individual requirements of each client prior to prescribing a programme to suit.
